Western Australia (WA) enjoys the reputation of being an enormous state within Australia. In addition to being huge, we have a tiny population; only 10% of Australians live in WA (1.8m). WA is separated from the rest of Australia by vast desert and from the rest of the world by the Indian Ocean. In this seclusion our bees spend the long sunny days feasting on nectar from Western Australian bush blossoms.
