We're Clean...Our honey comes from Western Australia an enormous state with very few people. We are bordered by vast desert and the Indian Ocean.   In this seclusion our bees spend the long sunny days feasting on nectar from Western Australian bush and forest blossoms such as jarrah, red gum, wandoo, flooded gum, banksia, grevillea, hakea and wildflowers, making distinctive and delicious honeys.  Our Elixir Raw Honey tastes so good because we do not heat it.  We gravity filter all our honey and hand pack all but 3 products into glass jars to reduce plastic tainting.   Raw honey sets. 

& Green...All our bees are tended as close to organic standards as we can get.  We use benign treatments; hive materials, apiary equipment and packaging materials, to ensure our bees are healthy and our honey clean.  We only paint the outside of our hives, the inside being bare wood.  Our honey is kept at under 35°C, the temperature that bees keep honey in the hives.  We manage our hives carefully, ensuring careful site selection in native tree groves, provision of water, swarm and disease management.  We maintain our own jarrah and redgum forest, use only the rainwater we collect and through rigourous reuse and recyclings our rubbish bills amount to AU$150 per year.  The use of pesticides and antibiotics is illegal in Western Australian bee keeping.  Trees blossom at different times and some don't blossom every year. Also we extract small quantities and so do not have all honeys in stock year around. This way you get to taste what is in season.
